About AQA
AQA (Assessment and Qualifications Alliance) is an independent education charity and awarding body that sets and marks GCSEs, AS and A-levels, and offers vocational and other qualifications in the UK. It sets and marks around half of all GCSEs and A-levels taken in the UK each year, and is one of five awarding bodies recognised to offer these qualifications in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. AQA also offers qualifications for international schools through OxfordAQA, its partnership with Oxford University Press.
