Assistant / Graduate Quantity Surveyor

About the Role

Assistant/Graduate Quantity Surveyor based in Forfar, joining the Commercial and Surveying Team during the Full Fibre Network Build sector expansion.

Responsibilities

Under guidance from the Commercial and Surveying Team, you will be trained to excel in:

• Estimating and cost planning
• Contract administration and on-site measurement
• Cost reporting and final account preparation
• Dispute resolution
• Client and site team engagement
• Managing monthly valuations
• Commercial reporting
• Variations and subcontractor payments
• Health, safety, risk management, and margin control

Business travel across GCU UK Ltd locations is expected.

Requirements

• HND or above in Quantity Surveying, or graduating with this qualification
• Valid UK driving licence
• Alternatively, those in a Commercial Assistant/Administrator role seeking career progression will be considered
