About National Gas

National Gas owns and operates the gas National Transmission System (NTS) in Great Britain — a high-pressure pipeline network of around 5,000 miles that transports gas to power stations, industry, storage facilities, businesses and homes. The organisation is made up of four businesses: National Gas Transmission, National Gas Metering, National Gas Services and Premtech, and is developing infrastructure to transport hydrogen and carbon dioxide as part of the UK's transition to net zero.
