About the Role

We're looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Independent Sales Team at the cutting edge of foodservice trends.

You'll be:

  • Scoping out, hunting, and sealing the deal with fresh, independent new business opportunities whilst keeping that pipeline flowing
  • Cultivating killer connections with independent players in the local food market using your innate curiosity for all things foodie
  • Crafting bespoke culinary propositions to help our customers save precious time and money
  • Serving up some tasty growth, hitting those profit targets and being rewarded accordingly
  • Welcoming aboard new clients with style and finesse, making sure they feel right at home with your Area Sales Manager buddy
  • Keeping an eye on the competition and independent market trends, so you can dish out the hottest solutions and insights from the world's biggest food wholesaler

What We're Looking For

  • Ideally, you'll come from a similar background to Field Sales, however this isn't essential
  • Commercial mindset, with the drive and ambition to make a difference to the business by delivering against targets
  • Confident being out on the field — the customer will be at the heart of everything you do
  • Food service experience or hospitality background would be advantageous, but we have a great induction programme where we will teach you everything you need to know about our products and the business
  • Someone who helps to make us even better
