Maintenance Surveyor

Location: Hertsmere, Borehamwood

Hours: 36 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary:

  • London: £37,854 - £52,051 per annum
  • National: £34,869 - £47,945 per annum

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Surveyor to join our team covering Hertsmere, Borehamwood and surrounding areas. Reporting to the Neighbourhood Repairs Manager, you'll be responsible for pre/post-inspection and reports for responsive repairs, void works and cyclical repairs, consulting and engaging with customers and leaseholders, and with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate repair, maintenance, and construction work to deliver according to cost, time, and quality standards
  • Undertake building and technical surveys to determine the building condition and identify defects and associated risks
  • Carry out major void inspections and ensure that work is completed in line with KPIs
  • Make recommendations based on survey findings
  • Travel across the region as required

Requirements

  • Diploma in Surveying, Property and Maintenance Level 3
  • Member of a relevant professional body e.g. RICS or CIOB
  • Eligible to work in the UK (Clarion are not able to offer visa sponsorship)
  • Able to reside in England or Wales for the duration of employment
  • Basic Criminal Record Check Clearance required
