About the Role
The Business Development Manager for the Blockchain and DeFi ecosystem is a high-impact role at the forefront of innovation in the digital asset market. You will work across product, legal, finance, marketing and sales functions, engaging directly with innovative customers and partners across the Fireblocks Network.
Responsibilities
- Bring commercial and innovative mindset to identify and grow new revenue streams
- Identify and prioritise new blockchains, protocols and applications that will support the 2,400 customers in the Fireblocks network
- Create solutions that build on the core Fireblocks offering and partner ecosystem to deliver differentiated offerings for clients
- Work with product teams to develop solutions and sales teams to test market demand
- Identify, structure and implement new partnerships to provide complete solutions for clients
- Work with legal, finance, and operations functions to build out robust solutions
- Work with marketing and sales teams globally to devise and deliver GTM strategy
- Set, track and meet revenue targets
- Focus primarily on DeFi use cases globally
- Represent Fireblocks externally as a subject matter expert at events and webinars
- Develop and maintain strong network across the industry to identify new opportunities
- Support corporate development themes with market insights
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in crypto or venture capital, with focus on DeFi
- Deep enthusiasm for blockchain, DeFi and advancing the digital asset industry forward
- Strong network in the crypto industry and track record of building and leveraging relationships to drive revenue opportunities
- Strong financial background and proven commercial experience, including building compelling business cases with revenue and profit models
- History of influencing and communicating effectively with senior executives, internally and externally
- Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders across the organisation
- Creative approach to problem solving and entrepreneurial approach to identifying business opportunities
- Ability to learn quickly and work in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments, demonstrating initiative and adaptability with limited guidance
- Collaborative, strategic, and low-ego mindset, driven by intellectual curiosity and desire to challenge the status quo
Work Arrangement
Hybrid role, in-office 2-3 days a week.
